We set the Date!

We finally got the church to agree to a date for our wedding today!! It will be September 4th, 2010....Labor Day weekend. BUT, the good thing about that is everyone will have an extra day to relax since we all have that Monday off!!

Reception Site

The space is amazing and the view of downtown KC is even better!

We also decided on getting married at Queen of the Holy Rosary. It's at 71st and Metcalf.....the church is beautiful, it was just remodeled in the last 5 years or so.

We're Engaged!!

Brandon and I got engaged today!! He asked me to go to lunch in the park, and showed up with sandwiches and flowers. Sandwiches=Good, Flowers=Weird!! I thought it was really sweet, but didn't expect anything else. So we sat down and he went into his speech...he got up, came over to me, got down on one knee and proposed!!! It was amazing! I was completely shocked, just the way he wanted it!
